The tour begins with the arrival at Renzo Pianos Kansai Airport and forms the beginning of the varied tour with an exclusive visit to a private house for ceramic artists and a walk through the lively downtown Osaka. The next day, the maritime excursion leads to the picturesque Seto Inland Sea and to refreshing boat trips to the islands of Naoshima and Teshima, which since the mid-1990s have become an artists' colony with numerous art and museum projects by well-known architects (Tadao Ando, Ryue Nishizawa, among others ) have developed in cooperation with artists. Based on our exquisite location - we are accommodated directly in Tadao Ando's "Benesse House"! - the art installations on the island of Naoshima can be experienced and enjoyed up close.

The third stop of the journey is dedicated to Kyoto's unique landscaped gardens and temples, which unfold their full splendor at the time of the cherry blossom. A selection of the very best places - including exclusive tours through the imperial villas - and walks to temples as well as contemporary interventions in historical Machiya houses describe the three-day program in the former imperial city. At the end of the day, we go right to the heart of the action in the super-dense mega-metropolis of Tokyo for four days. Starting from the urban residence in Roppongi, there is a lot to explore within walking distance and in eventful journeys by rail and train: the latest projects and high-rise buildings next to small-scale structures, "concrete classics" from the 1960s and 70s, "cool" bars and shops, fine museums and the detailed city itself as a source of inspiration. As usual, but especially here in Japan, the culinary component of the program also promises to meet high expectations.
