a walk from Neubau via Mariahilf to Margareten and Wieden and back

The new format ARCH ON WALK_ACHLEITNER RELOADED offers self-guided walks along well-known as well as hidden paths in Vienna and lets you discover surprisingly untouched architectural gems among numerous remarkable buildings. The selection of the objects is based on Friedrich Achleitner's architecture guide "Austrian Architecture in the 20th Century", whereby the order of the buildings is rearranged and expanded with contemporary additions, following the route of the ARCH ON WALK.

The first ARCH ON WALK 01_ACHLEITNER RELOADED takes about 3 hours, starts in Mariahilferstrasse, leads over Wienzeile to Margaretenstrasse, along Kettenbrückengasse, over Naschmarkt, through Raimundhof back to Neubau and through Kirchengasse to the end at Siebensternplatz .

The walks can be done alone. We'll send you a City map with all marked buildings and the exact route as well as extensive information with pictures and texts on all buildings on the respective route. The building data and descriptions are based on Achleitner's architectural guide and are enriched with current additions.
