Together with GA Barcelona, the four-day ARCH ON TOUR leads to Barcelona and an excursion inland. We invite you to discover Barcelona's unique buildings - embedded in an extremely compact, multi-layered urban structure - as well as to experience the Catalan metropolis and its surroundings in all their diversity!

The tour starts with a view of the city from the Montjuïc city mountain and a visit to Mies van der Rohe's legendary Barcelona Pavilion. Strolls through the old town show architectural reinterpretations in the middle of the historical structure, conversions of old market halls and a trip through the former industrial area Poblenou leads to exciting new projects, such as the "Technology and Innovation District 22 @" and the museum for contemporary painting "Can Framis" .

Projects by the Pritzker Prize winners RCR Arquitectes are on the agenda for a leisurely excursion to the province of Girona. Its architecture, developed out of the regional context, is the result of an intensive examination of the landscape and is characterized by the merging of inside and outside. Poetic and sculptural, of unusual expressiveness and atmospheric charm, including the fantastic restaurant "Les Cols", both in terms of cuisine and design, where lunch has been ordered for us.

A walk on the beach past new buildings along the urban coast, a Mediterranean lunch by the sea and classic examples of Catalan Art Nouveau - Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batlló - describe "a perfect Sunday in Barcelona".

A brilliant conclusion is the exclusive visit to the beach villa “La Ricarda”, which is so extraordinary not least because of its location in the middle of a pine grove and its roof, which is gently laid over the site in a wave-like sequence.
